The library is destined for placing your own ISO images in order to connect them to a virtual machine in future.
The library is available for each of the regions. Meanwhile for virtual machines ISO images are available only in library of the region where they are placed.
Files can be uploaded to the library via browser. The further management of the uploaded files is performed via the control panel.
Backup is an additional service of backup copying with the storage depth of 2, 7, 14 and 30 days. This procedure is usually performed during night time with the help of the program product System Center Data Protection Manager 2019.
Snapshot is an image of the virtual machine condition. At any time, there is an opportunity to bring back the state of a virtual machine at the moment of creating a snapshot.
Snapshots are not virtual machine backup. The script of their application is to save the efficient condition before starting any planned work, installing updates and performing other configuration changings.
When creating a snapshot, the general condition of a virtual machine is saved along with the data that is kept on all disks that are connected to the VM at the moment.
Restoration from a snapshot fully rewrites the current VM condition and brings back the configuration, state and all data that is kept when creating a snapshot.
Snapshots are kept for a limited time, no more than 2 weeks. If a snapshot is not deleted by the moment when its storage time is over, it is deleted automatically.
